“Immigration is off the charts”    [MUST WATCH!!!]

Roy Beck of NumbersUSA illustrates why, as Ann Coulter says: #Immigration is the most important issue because it determines all other issues.

In addition, 90% of the 1,000,000+ legal immigrants per year are poor, unskilled people from the third world who vote Dem 80%+ once they can vote.  800,000 children of immigrants turn 18 every year.  Do the grim political math of #immigration.

Only one presidential candidate’s immigration plan is approved by the “gold standard” of pro America, pro American workers, pro American taxpayers immigration policy, Senator Jeff Sessions.  That is #DonaldTrump.

For more immigration information, please see:

The only chance for conservatism and for an America based on the values and principles that made her great, free and prosperous is to stop all immigration, legal and illegal.  Otherwise, all of America will be like California today, a one party state governed by far left Dems.

Who Should American Patriots Rally Around? published on

Trump 08 w Cruz

WHO SHOULD AMERICAN PATRIOTS RALLY AROUND?

On December 26, I wrote that conservatives have two choices for president, Donald Trump and Ted Cruz.  Donald Trump is far in front, but I recommended and recommend everyone reconsider our choices before making a final decision.  This election may be the last chance to stop the “fundamental transformation of the United States of America.”
http://redlandsteaparty.net/RTP/be-careful-what-you-ask-for-to-trump-or-not-to-trump-that-is-the-question/

Who can best lead against the corrupt, incompetent, “do as we say not as we do” #RulingClass “that is making America less prosperous, less free, and more dangerous” and lead against the “demographic, political, and cultural transformation” of America that the #RulingClass is causing, aiding and abetting, or at least doing nothing to stop?

This is a crucial decision.  4-8 more years of open borders and mass immigration may put the country beyond reach.

Two good articles linked and excerpted below.  One for #Trump and one for #Cruz.

******************************

Brent Bozell wrote “It’s Time To Rally Around Ted Cruz”
http://www.breitbart.com/big-government/2015/12/24/its-time-to-rally-around-ted-cruz/

Excepts:

“On every issue of crucial importance to conservatives—defunding Planned Parenthood, ending the Obamacare nightmare, reducing the size of government, opposing amnesty—Cruz is not only with conservatives, he’s led the fight for conservatives.”

“Some Republicans vote the right way on these issues. Few stick their necks out and challenge the Washington DC GOP establishment. He’s done it over and over, fearlessly. It’s what leaders do.”

“Ted Cruz could play that game too. Life would be easy. But he came to Washington to change Washington. He’s the one candidate the establishment most fears – because he will.”

“There’s nothing the Left would like more than to see Donald Trump win the GOP nomination. He cannot, will not defeat Hillary Clinton. She will be our next president, and God help us then.  Only Ted Cruz can defeat Trump; and if he does, he’ll defeat Hillary.”

Diana West wrote: “It’s Time to Rally Around Donald Trump”
http://www.breitbart.com/big-government/2015/12/26/its-time-to-rally-around-donald-trump/

Excerpts:

“Ted Cruz is a good man and a fine candidate — my own second choice — but I believe GOP frontrunner Donald Trump is the candidate for American patriots to rally around.”

“[I]f, say, a President Cruz were to ensure [as Bozell suggests] that Planned Parenthood was defunded, Obamacare ended, government trimmed, and amnesty once again staved off for another election cycle — we would all rejoice. However, the Constitution, the Republic, would be no more secure. On the contrary, they would still teeter on the edge of extinction, lost in a demographic, political, and cultural transformation that our fathers, founding and otherwise, would find inconceivable — and particularly if they ever found out that the crisis took hold when We the People lost our nerve even to talk about immigration and Islam.”

“It is in this danger zone of lost nerve and the vanishing nation-state where the extraordinary presidential candidacy of Donald Trump began. Like the nation-state itself, it started with the concept of a border, when Donald Trump told us he wanted to build a wall. Circa 21st-century-America, that took a lot of nerve.”

“A well-defended border is an obvious requisite for any nation-state. It bears noting, however, that before Donald Trump, not one commander in chief, and (aside from former Rep. Tom Tancredo, R-CO), not one figure of national fame and repute I can think of had ever put it to the people of this land that a wall was a way to stop our border crisis: the unceasing flow into the nation of illegal masses of mainly Spanish-speaking aliens, among them terrorists, criminals (yes, including rapists and murderers) and transnational gangs. On the contrary, crime and chaos at the U.S. non-border are what every branch and bureaucracy of our government expect We, the People to accept as normal — and pay for as good citizens.”

“Notwithstanding Cruz and his consistent conservatism (in which Bozell places great stock), immigration wouldn’t even be a campaign issue without Donald Trump. In my opinion, the Trump plan is absolutely essential to any possible return, as Bozell puts it, to America’s constitutional foundations and Judeo-Christian principles. I actually think of it as our last shot.”

“As Trump makes clear, our country’s representatives have no clue. Worse, they seem content to remain in ignorance no matter how many Americans die, no matter how far sharia spreads. Not Trump. When you think about it, his call for a Muslim immigration moratorium is really a no-brainer — but whose “politically correct” brain is capable even of thinking of it, let alone calling for it out loud? I regret to say that Sen. Cruz does not support Trump’s moratorium, deferring instead to a rosier vision of Islam and immigration screening both in order, politely, to reject it.”

“That’s too bad, but so it goes, further testament to the fearless, agenda-setting powers of Trump. It’s really quite incredible: soon, maybe even before it’s too late, GOP primary voters will have a clear choice on walls, borders, immigration, even Islamic immigration (and, I would hope, the related issue of Islamic law), all because Donald Trump plucked these crucial issues from the void where the politicians, including good conservatives, have been eager to leave them.”

******************************

I agree with West about the precarious state of the Republic and the “demographic, political, and cultural transformation” underway.

Ann Coulter is spot on that: “Immigration is the most important issue because it determines all other issues.”

Therefore, the key question is who can best lead against the corrupt, incompetent, “do as we say not as we do” #RulingClass “that is making America less prosperous, less free, and more dangerous” and lead against the “demographic, political, and cultural transformation” of America that the #RulingClass is causing, aiding and abetting, or at least doing nothing to stop?

Of course, neither Donald Trump nor Ted Cruz can save America by themselves.  Who we elect as president is important, but only We the People can do that.

As always, “The most important political office is that of the private citizen.” Justice Louis D. Brandeis

Thus far, Donald Trump has been my first choice.  Donald Trump is a unique character and personality in American politics, very different than any other serious candidate for high political office that I recall in my lifetime.  Trump has both good and bad points.

Do we really want Donald Trump as president and as the Rep candidate?  As we come into the new year and approach decision time, let’s consider carefully who to chose.  It’s worth reconsidering our choices.

First, as Ann Couler says: “Immigration is the most important issue because it determines all other issues.”

Pro #amnesty DQs: Bush, Rubio, Kasich, and unfortunately Carson.

[Fiorina wants half amnesty, legalization without citizenship, but that is not politically stable and will lead to full amnesty.  Fiorina is a great disappointment to me.  If she had been good on immigration, I would have supported her, and there is a good chance she would have gotten the nomination.  See the Angelo Codevilla quote at the end of this post.  Fiorina could have been that person.  She understands and articulates the #RulingClass vs. the American people better than any other candidate.]

See the candidates’ #immigration grades and positions at:
https://www.numbersusa.com/content/elections/races/presidential/2016-presidential-hopefuls.html

Trump and Cruz are the best of the leading candidates on immigration earning A- grades.

Pro #ObamaTrade DQs: Bush, Rubio, Kasich and unfortunately Carson.  #ObamaTrade allows unlimited foreign “temporary” workers and allows the Trans Pacific Commission to impose international agreements on America, such as Obama’s #GlobalWarming agreement, without the advice and consent of 2/3 of the Senate as required by the Constitution.   [Cruz voted for the enabling TPA legislation before he voted against it.]

I believe conservatives have two choices: Donald Trump and Ted Cruz.  They have plusses and minus in their positions, personalities, experience, leadership abilities and electability.  We should consider both what kind of president each would make and his chances of winning if nominated.

I suggest a serious and respectful debate between and among conservatives regarding who to support and that we all reconsider our choices before the voting starts.

******************************

From above, Angelo Codevilla wrote:

“Donald Trump leapt atop other contenders for the Republican presidential nomination when he acted on the primordial fact in American public life today, from which most of the others hide their eyes, namely: most Americans distrust, fear, are sick and tired of, the elected, appointed, and bureaucratic officials who rule over us, as well as their cronies in the corporate, media, and academic world. Trump’s attraction lies less in his words’ grace or even precision than in the extent to which Americans are searching for someone, anyone, to lead against this ruling class, that is making America less prosperous, less free, and more dangerous.”

Codevilla thinks Trump is not the candidate to lead against the corrupt, incompetent, “do as we say not as we do” Ruling Class.  But if not Trump, then who can best lead against “this ruling class, that is making America less prosperous, less free, and more dangerous”?

“In Hoc Anno Domini” [In The Year of Our Lord]

“In Hoc Anno Domini” [In The Year of Our Lord] published on

Paul conversion 5           The conversion of Saul of Tarsus

We have a (4 year) tradition at our Christmas party of reading “In Hoc Anno Domini” [In the Year of Our Lord] written by Vermont Royster in 1949 and published in the WSJ every year since for Christmas.  “In Hoc Anno Domini” explains the connection between the events of 2000 years ago, the events of 1776 and 1787, and the freedom that we are working so hard to defend today.

“In Hoc Anno Domini”

“When Saul of Tarsus set out on his journey to Damascus, the whole of the known world lay in bondage.  There was one state, and it was Rome.  There was one master for it all, and he was Tiberius Caesar.

Everywhere there was civil order, for the arm of the Roman law was long.  Everywhere there was stability, in government and in society, for the centurions saw that it was so.

But everywhere there was something else, too.  There was oppression—for those who were not the friends of Tiberius Caesar.  There was the tax gatherer to take the grain from the fields and the flax from the spindle to feed the legions or to fill the hungry treasury from which divine Caesar gave largess to the people.  There was the impressor to find recruits for the circuses.  There were executioners to quiet those whom the Emperor proscribed.  What was a man for but to serve Caesar?

There was the persecution of men who dared think differently, who heard strange voices or read strange manuscripts.  There was enslavement of men whose tribes came not from Rome, disdain for those who did not have the familiar visage.  And most of all, there was everywhere a contempt for human life.  What, to the strong, was one man more or less in a crowded world?

Then, of a sudden, there was a light in the world, and a man from Galilee saying, Render unto Caesar the things which are Caesar’s and unto God the things that are God’s.

And the voice from Galilee, which would defy Caesar, offered a new Kingdom in which each man could walk upright and bow to none but his God.  Inasmuch as ye have done it unto one of the least of these my brethren, ye have done it unto me.  And he sent this gospel of the Kingdom of Man into the uttermost ends of the earth.

So the light came into the world and the men who lived in darkness were afraid, and they tried to lower a curtain so that man would still believe salvation lay with the leaders.

But it came to pass for a while in divers places that the truth did set man free, although the men of darkness were offended and they tried to put out the light.  The voice said, Haste ye.  Walk while you have the light, lest darkness come upon you, for he that walketh in darkness knoweth not whither he goeth.

Along the road to Damascus the light shone brightly.  But afterward Paul of Tarsus, too, was sore afraid.  He feared that other Caesars, other prophets, might one day persuade men that man was nothing save a servant unto them, that men might yield up their birthright from God for pottage and walk no more in freedom.

Then might it come to pass that darkness would settle again over the lands and there would be a burning of books and men would think only of what they should eat and what they should wear, and would give heed only to new Caesars and to false prophets.  Then might it come to pass that men would not look upward to see even a winter’s star in the East, and once more, there would be no light at all in the darkness.

And so Paul, the apostle of the Son of Man, spoke to his brethren, the Galatians, the words he would have us remember afterward in each of the years of his Lord:

Stand fast therefore in the liberty wherewith Christ has made us free and be not entangled again with the yoke of bondage.”

Redlands Tea Party Patriots Help Local Veterans for Christmas

Thanks to the generosity of our members and guests at the Redlands Tea Party Patriots/Unite IE Christmas party on December 10, we were able to donate $1026.12 to the KEYS program to help local veterans.

The KEYS program provides for homeless veterans in the Inland Empire.

  • KEYS is a 501(c)(3) charity.
  • KEYS is an Affiliate Nonprofit of the Housing Authority of San Bernardino County
  • Their goal is to provide housing for the remaining 177 homeless veterans in our area by the end of the year 2015.
  • ALL money raised will be used directly to help our veterans.

Greg Brittain and Carolyn Hays, cabinet members of the Redlands Tea Party Patriots, delivered the check to Julie Burnette and Carla Gamboa with the KEYS program on December 17.

KEYS will use the money for deposits for water service to get homeless veterans into stable housing.  Government funding does not provide for this need.

Julie Burnette and Carla Gamboa will attend the Redlands Tea Party Patriots meeting on February 4, 2016 to report how the funds were used.

Our veterans have done so much for America.  The Redlands Tea Party Patriots are pleased to be able to do something for them.

Paul Ryan aka Boehner 3.0 and the Est Reps Give America and Conservatives Their Middle Finger

Paul Ryan aka Boehner 3.0 and the Est Reps Give America and Conservatives Their Middle Finger published on

Obama-Ryan

PAUL RYAN aka BOEHNER 3.0 AND THE EST REPS GIVE AMERICA AND CONSERVATIVES THE MIDDLE FINGER

As documented here, #PaulRyan is an open borders zealot who not only supports #Amnesty, Ryan wants to allow unlimited foreign workers into America [no exaggeration] and supports #ObamaTrade.
http://redlandsteaparty.net/RTP/what-you-should-know-about-paul-ryan-aka-boehner-3-0/

Since becoming Speaker, Paul Ryan pushed through a reauthorization of “No Child Left Behind” i.e. Fed.Ed, that the Dems and teacher unions like and a bloated, pork laden, Washington business as usual transportation bill.

On Tuesday night, shortly before midnight, Ryan released a 233 page special-interest tax bill and at 1:30 a.m. Wednesday morning a 2000 page $1.1 TRILLION omnibus spending bill.  Ryan negotiated both bills secretly with Nancy Pelosi.  They will vote on the bills on Thursday.

HOW BAD OF A BETRAYAL AND SURRENDER IS THE RYAN-PELOSI BUDGET?

Breitbart lists some of the worst parts.
http://www.breitbart.com/big-government/2015/12/16/paul-ryan-betrays-america-1-1-trillion-2000-plus-page-omnibus-bill-funds-fundamental-transformation-america/

My list includes:

FIRST, it is based on the Boehner’s budget deal that Ryan supported that uses “Wimpy budgeting.”  [Wimpy is Popeye’s friend famous for saying “I will gladly repay you Tuesday for a hamburger today.”]  The latest budget deal, like Ryan’s 2013 budget deal, claims to pay for the increased spending today by promising a future president and future Congress will restrain the growth of federal spending 10 years hence.  Not only does #RulingClass including the Est Reps lie to our faces as easily and without regret as most people say “good morning,” they think we are stupid.

SECOND, the Ryan-Pelosi budget increases the deficit and debt.

THIRD, according Obama’s spokesman, the Boehner-Ryan budget “meets the president’s priorities.”

FOURTH, Adam Jentleson, Minority Leader Harry Reid’s deputy chief of staff, wrote that “the final agreement will secure major progressive policy successes.”

FIFTH, Pat Caddell [Jimmy Carter’s polster] said: referring to the Ryan -Pelosi$1.1 trillion “omnibus” spending bill, “which I guarantee you will be one of the greatest giveaways to special interests ever devised.” Caddell blasted Republicans for “giving away the store,” saying they are “handing over everything” to the Democrats in order to allow oil companies to export fuel.

SIXTH, the Ryan-Pelosi budget funds Obama’s global warming agreement with $3 billion to be given away to crony capitalists and third world kleptocrats.

SEVENTH, the Ryan-Pelosi budget fully funds Obama’s executive amnesty programs.

EIGHTH, the Ryan-Pelosi budget fully funds Obama’s plans to bring in purported refugees from Syria and wherever else he wants without restriction.

NINTH, the Ryan-Pelosi budget fully funds illegal sanctuary cities.

TENTH, of course, the Ryan-Pelosi budget fully funds Obamacare.

ELEVENTH, the Ryan-Pelosi budget fully funds Obama’s regulatory rampage against American business and the American standard of living without any restrictions.

TWELFTH, the Ryan-Pelosi budget funds Obama’s plans to release more criminals from federal prison.

THIRTEENTH, the Ryan-Pelosi budget funds resettling ILLEGAL immigrants in America.

FOURTEENTH,  the Ryan-Pelosi budget fully funds Planned Parenthood.

FIFTEENTH, while it has nothing to do with the budget, the Ryan-Pelosi budget quadruples H-2B visas for low skilled workers that will put 200,000 more Americans out of work in favor of cheaper foreign workers and force down the wages of other American workers by increasing the supply of low skill workers.

******************************

Ryan is worse than Boehner because Ryan is more effective.  Ryan, like Boehner before him, and McConnell, only fight hard and effectively when they are fighting for Obama.

I used to think the Est Reps were spineless, cowardly, Vichy French Republicans afraid to use their constitutional power of the purse.  However, when we see them time and time again support Obama, I suspect they really support much of what Obama is trying to do to “fundamentally transform United States of America.”

Whichever is the case, #Paul Ryan, #MitchMcConnell and the #EstReps are again giving their middle finger to America and the voters who sent them to Washington.

The best middle finger we can give them back is Donald J. Trump.

#Trump the #EstReps. #Trump the #RulingClass.
#CantBeBought. #WontBackDown. #MakeAmericaGreatAgain
