“Fundamentally Transforming” Redlands

“Fundamentally Transforming” Redlands

The City of Redlands is updating its General Plan, which controls what gets built and where.

The “General Plan Update” is about “fundamentally transforming” Redlands including high density (with low income) housing throughout Redlands and restricting traffic making so it will take more of our time to drive around Redlands.

Please take the City’s survey and see for yourself what they have in mind.

The 50 trains per day “Redlands “Crazy Train” is only part of the “fundamental transformation.”

It is up to We The People of Redlands whether to let the City and those who will profit from it “fundamentally transform” Redlands.

Please attend one or both of the City’s “workshops” regarding the General Plan update listed below and let them know what you think about high density housing and “fundamentally transforming” Redlands.

Please note the meetings will probably be “Delphi’ed.”  Delphi is a process to control public meetings nominally designed to solicit public opinion towards the government’s predetermined outcome using one or more trained “facilitator(s)” and sometimes paid or volunteer plants in the audience.  Therefore, even if it seems most of the people attending the meeting favor the “fundamental transformation” and even if the facilitator(s) try to make anyone opposing the government’s predetermined outcome look bad, do not be afraid to express your opinion.

The “workshops” will be Thursday, August 27, 6-8 pm at the Redlands Community Senior Center Banquet Room, at 111 W. Lugonia Ave. and Saturday, August 29, 10-12, Joslyn Senior Center Meeting Room, 21 Grant St.
