More Rep Betrayal [why is #PresidentTrump going along with it?] and What We Can Do About It

MORE REP BETRAYAL [why is #PresidentTrump going along with it?] AND WHAT WE CAN DO ABOUT IT

Preliminarily, I was an early and strong Donald Trump supporter.  #PresidentTrump has done a lot of good things, but he works for us, not vice-versa.  We need to let him know when we are dissatisfied with his work.

After the voters gave the Reps control of the House in 2010, the Reps said we have to give in to the Dems on spending because we only control one house of Congress.  After the voters gave the Reps control of the House and Senate in 2014, the Reps said we still have to give in to the Dems because the Dems control the White House.

Every year we had another Rep complete and total capitulation to the Dems.

So in 2017, the voters gave the Reps control of the House, Senate and Presidency.  So things will be different, right?  Wrong, we have another total capitulation to the Dems.

–“The depth of the betrayal and perfidy is beyond the ability of a human to grasp.” Daniel Horowitz  [In full disclosure, I had to look up “perfidy.”  It means “deliberate breach of faith or trust; faithlessness; treachery.”  Interestingly, the dictionary had Paul Ryan’s picture next to the word.]

–“Why does the left bother with ‘Resistance’ theatrics when the Republican Congress funds their entire wish list anyway?” John Hayward, Breitbart News

–“There’s no reason to keep electing Republicans if this is what we’re gonna get with this budget deal, which pays — continually pays — for sanctuary cities, funds Obamacare, funds the EPA, gives money to Planned Parenthood and no money for the wall.” Rush Limbaugh

Judge the spending bill for yourself.  Here are some of the things in the supposedly “Rep” spending bill Ryan and McConnell negotiated with the Dems:

  • Full funding for Obamacare and Obamacare
  • Taxpayer bailout for Puerto Rico that is so fiscally irresponsible, it makes California appear miserly.
  • Full funding for refugee resettlement.
  • Full funding for sanctuary cities.
  • Full funding for Muslim immigration from terrorist prone countries where the immigrants cannot be vetted.
  • None of budget cuts President Trump requested.
  • Full funding for the vile abortion mill and baby chop shop chain called Planned Parenthood.
  • 99% funding for the EPA.
  • No funding for President Trump’s border wall.
  • Prohibition on adding a single inch of new fencing. Under prior law, President Trump could have started on the border wall under authority of a 2006 law.
  • Doubles H-2B visas for low skill foreigners to undercut low skill American workers, like H-1B visa do for American tech workers.
  • Increased funding for National Endowment for [liberal] Arts.
  • Increased funding for the Federal courts.
  • Overall increased domestic spending.
  • Only 1/2 of the money President Trump requested to begin rebuilding our military so badly depleted under Obama.

Paul Ryan, Mitch McConnell and every Rep who votes for what is a great spending bill, for the Dems that is, is saying “F you” to the voters who sent them to Washington.

It pains me to say this, but if #PresidentTrump signs the Reps’ “Dem spending bill,” he is saying “F you” to his voters too.

Donald Trump is hardly perfect, but one thing I thought was confident in WAS that he would not back down.  But after a little more than three months he’s backing down and surrendering on spending to the Washington establishment.

This goes far beyond the immediate terrible Dem spending bill, #PresidentTrump showed weakness to the Dems and the entire Washington establishment.  They now think they can roll him any time.  The Dems think, rightly so, they control Federal government spending for all of #PresidentTrump’s term.

What happened to the Donald Trump who said in his inauguration speech: –“I will fight for you with every breath in my body – and I will never, ever let you down“?

#PresidentTrump needs to veto the spending bills until the Reps pass one that meets his priorities, not the Dems’ priorities.  If #PresidentTrump does not want Chuck Schumer and Nancy Pelosi to control spending for his entire presidency, he needs to make this fight so he may as well make it now.

Let President Trump know what you think of him surrendering to the Washington establishment aka the swamp.

Trump is no pussy. All the cards are stacked against him at this time. I predict he will regroup and when he is ready take them all out one by one. He should start with a noisy investigation of Ryan.
