|Help “Pink Slip Pete” in Redlands this Thursday!
We want to help our good friends at We the People Rising in a Thursday rally in Redlands to “Pink Slip Pete” Aguilar during his closed-door and invitation-only meeting with the San Bernardino County Medical Society, 1859 W. Redlands Blvd. Rally is 5 p.m. – 7 p.m. outside the building, which is public property (and don’t let anyone tell you otherwise)! Bring your flags and signs as We the People Rising will attempt to serve Pete with a pink flip for his shameless support of Obama’s unconstitutional executive amnesty. C’mon out and help deliver Pete’s pink slip!
(Need proof that Pete supports amnesty? Here is a quote Pete made on the floor of the US House of Representatives: “I applaud the President for taking a step in the right direction, giving us the opportunity to keep families together and begin to fix our broken immigration system. I encourage all eligible applicants under the new executive action to apply beginning February 18th, and I look forward to working on this further with my colleagues in the House.” )
We the People Rising (https://wethepeoplerising.wordpress.com/) is the group that courageously fights against amnesty and for American workers throughout SoCal. Its members speak at city councils, meet with elected officials and protest outside the offices of numerous elected officials who refuse to meet with them. This group, small in number yet mighty in determination, has caused many Inland Empire politicians to think twice about sheepishly following the unconstitutional amnesty sickness that infects way too many politicians. We the People Rising exemplify what Justice Brandeis said: “The most important political office is that of the private citizen.” Check out their great videos on their website.
Unlike the people he supposedly represents, Pete Aguilar owes a lot to illegal aliens–who may very well be among his numerous “ghost voters.” There is a rapidly growing body of evidence that Pete Aguilar “won” his November race through illegal voting. (Our favorite is still the voter registered at a tennis court.)
The Institute for Fair Elections is collecting evidence. If you are willing to knock on doors of these ghost voters–a required step to prove that voters don’t live where they claim– please contact Jackie Nutting at firstname.lastname@example.org
We cannot show our hands just yet, but there may be some more interesting news soon that could rock the Inland Empire political establishment about Pete’s illegal voters. Stay tuned!
Patriots! We are as proud as peacocks about the Freedom Tea Party Patriots, a Fontana-based group that just decided at the Feb. 21 Unite IE conference to get into the game. The group’s first meeting is May 19 with former assemblyman Tim Donnelly! Details in the adjoining column.
We have a second meeting in April!
On April 30, Trevor Loudon, will discuss his book, “The Enemies Within: Communists, Socialists and Progressives in the US Congress.” A documentary of his book will be released in late 2015. (His website is www.TrevorLoudon.com) Trevor is a great motivational speaker for the cause of freedom, although he speaks with a slight “southern accent.” [We are meeting on 4/30 to accommodate Trevor’s schedule, so we will NOT meet on May 7.] Trevor has a history of attracting standing-room-only crowds, so come early to this meeting. His books really target all the anti-democratic and anti-American behavior of California’s and America’s elected officials.
You can watch the trailer, and if you are so moved, make a contribution to the movie at https://www.indiegogo.com/projects/exposing-the-enemies-within
Oh! In case you missed our last newsletter, don’t forget that the Politichicks are coming to a special meeting of the Redlands Tea Party Patriots on Aug. 8! Details to be announced in a coming newsletter.
The national Tea Party Patriots are revamping its website: http://www.teapartypatriots.org/
Please go there and sign up. Enrolling means a lot of new and incredible information the Tea Party Patriots are plowing into its website, which includes news and exclusive information any conservative could use. In addition, you can now join the Redlands Tea Party Patriots via that site by searching for local groups.
The weekly legislative reports published on Mondays (although not this week) are excellent. www.teapartypatriots.org/resources/#legup
And Tea Party Patriots news re: current events and the activities of our fellow Patriots. www.teapartypatriots.org/news/
Like you, we could spend all day, every day, banging our heads into concrete attempting to make sense of Barack Obama’s bassackwards logic. (That would lead to a lot of headaches, so don’t!) And like you, we cannot fathom his apparent–OK, try blatant– efforts at undermining American security around the world. Obama wants Iran to have nukes while not having the common sense to mention “Islam” in the same sentence as “terrorism.” Obama gave rises to ISIS after his willy-nilly withdraw of American forces from Iraq. He embraced the Muslim Brotherhood in Egypt. His counter-intuitive thinking goes on and on. But fortunately for conservatives, Bret Stephens of the Wall Street Journal has–yet again–nailed Obama with the accuracy of a construction-site nail gun. In his March 24 column, Stephens compares Obama with George Orwell’s all-time political classic “1984.” Writes Stephens: “To adapt George Orwell’s motto for Oceania: “Under Mr. Obama, friends are enemies, denial is wisdom, capitulation is victory.” There. Stephens nailed Obama in one paragraph…so stop banging your head and do everything you can to keep a liberal out of the White House in 2016.
News about 2016 ballot measures:
Remember the effort to repeal the so-called “co-ed bathroom law?” (You know, the one that lets public school students share bathrooms, locker rooms, sports teams all based on the gender they want to be versus the one they actually are? The most immoral and nutty law to ever come out of Sacramento? Yeah! THAT ONE!) Anyway, about June, a new ballot initiative that will forbid the same whacko idea being extended to public bathrooms could go out for signature. We will play a significant part in signature collection. Also: In January, a school vouchers initiative should go out for signature. Stay tuned!
Tea Party “elevator speech”:
The many attacks on the Tea Party movement never mention the Tea Party principles. When and if you have the opportunity to talk about the Tea Party movement, here is brief suggested Tea Party “elevator speech” you might use, in the elevator, checkout line, with a friend, neighbor or co-worker, or online:
The Tea Party Patriots and the Redlands Tea Party Patriots seek to protect and restore the freedom and opportunity for you, your children and grandchildren to pursue the American dream through:
- Personal Freedom with Constitutionally Limited Government
- Economic Freedom with Opportunity for All and Favoritism for None
- A Debt Free Future through Fiscal Responsibility Today
To learn more, you are invited to our next meeting on April 30, beginning at 7 p.m. at Mill Creek Cattle Co. or go to www.RedlandsTeaParty.net
Great victory for the Tea Party movement! (So of course the media didn’t tell you)
This is from a tea party friend of ours in Texas: “A federal judge has ordered the IRS to hand over a list of 298 Tea Party groups that were targeted by Obama the IRS for extra scrutiny in an effort to keep them from working against Obama in the 2012 election. This is an important development since the Tea Party groups are looking to be certified for a class action suit. That in itself is a big development for the groups but more importantly, once they are granted class action status, they can begin to ask for large quantities of emails, files and other evidence during the discovery phase. The IRS argued that it was illegal for them to hand over the list because of the privacy issue. The judge said there are exceptions for that rule and ordered the release.” Here is the link:
And Don’t Forget: The Redlands City Council wants to raise our water rates taxes by 14%!
Within months of an election, the Redlands City Council wants to raise our water taxes 7% in 2015 and another 7% in 2016. This is a backdoor way to raise taxes on us that escapes voter approval. According to the Redlands Daily Facts, the City Council will discuss the hikes during an upcoming meeting. Here’s the reality of the Redlands City Council: they are a leftist cabal that loves raising taxes whenever possible. The only time they hesitate is when the public stands up to their liberal desires — as was the case last year when they wanted to put another tax increase on the 2014 ballot. [Do you suppose they want to raise water rates taxes to cover the “sustainability” projects they wanted the tax increase for?]
In addition, the Redlands City Council wants to bring the $248 Million (oops! The actual costs is closer to $475 Million) “Crazy Train” to Redlands, and Jon Harrison, the Redlands City Council representative to SANBAG voted to move forward with toll lanes on 10 and 15 (former) Freeways.
Quick! Sign up for Facebook and join the lively discussion with your fellow patriots!
We want to clear the 1,000 member hurdle! Overall, we reject about half of our applicants because they are spammers, bots, and agitators. We welcome actual people who want to share news and information relating to conservative causes.
