Redlands City Council meets the first and third Tuesday each month. Public speaking, limited to three minutes, usually starts at 6 p.m. Redlands Civic Center, 35 Cajon Street, downtown Redlands. Greg and Carolyn haven been speaking against the Redlands “Crazy Train.” The more who speak against the Crazy Train, related “stack and pack” housing, and the planned 14% increase in water rates, the better.

6/4: Run, Ben, Run,
The Lake Arrowhead Tea Party Patriots are leading a San Bernardino County group supporting Dr. Ben Carson’s run for president. Groups meets at the Mill Creek Cattle Co., 1874 Mentone Blvd., at 5 p.m. on the same day the Redlands Tea Party Patriots hold their monthly meeting. http://www.runbenrun.org
6/4: Monthly Meeting of the Redlands Tea Party Patriots,
Mill Creek Cattle Co., 1874 Mentone Blvd., Mentone. Guest speaker is former Texas Congressman Steve Stockman who was first elected in the Gingrich Republican wave in 1994, redistricted out of Congress and then elected again in 2012. He ran unsuccessfully for Senate in 2014. Steve will give us the insider view of Washington from 1994 and 2014. Paul Chabot will discuss defeating ISIS and the jihadist threat. Doors open at 5:30 pm with no-host dinner. The meeting is free and open to the public.
6/6: Corona-Norco-Eastvale Tea Party Patriots,
Because of the closure of Carrows restaurant in Corona, the meeting for the group has moved to Marie Callendar’s Restaurant, 160 E. Rincon St., Corona. No-host breakfast, but group must order at least $100 in breakfast in order to avoid being charged for the room. 6/12: Celebrate the USA (field trips for patriots),
Flag Day falls on June 14 this year, but Celebrate the USA will hold a Flag Day event at Park Christian Fellowship Church, 5559 Park Place, Chino, from 10 a.m. – noon. Everyone welcome. 6/16: Registering new citizens to vote,
Ontario Convention Center, 8:00-12:00. Some of our dedicated Patriots including Dale Broome, Richard and Joann Marshall, Ly Kou, Judi Neal, Tressy Capps (forgive us for not listing everyone) have been attending new citizen swearing in ceremonies to register the new citizens to vote, going all the way to LA. 6/17: ObamaCare protest at Pete Aguilar’s office,
As part of a nationwide Tea Party Patriots protest against congressional hypocrisy about ObamaCare, the Redlands Tea Party Patriots will lead a local protest at the Rancho Cucamonga office of former Redlands Mayor Pete Aguilar. Tea Party groups across America will protest Congress illegally obtaining taxpayer subsidized insurance by claiming to be a “small business.” Assisting us will be We the People Rising, a group targeting Aguilar for his extreme and shameless pro-amnesty views. CANCELLED FOR SCHEDULING CONFLICTS. ACT for America’s Brigitte Gabriel, a dynamic national speaker and TV commentator on the dangers of radical Islam. (“Because They Hate,” her book which depicts her life growing up in Lebanon as the Muslim terrorists took over in the 1970s, explains the Middle East as well as any other book.) We will let you know when she reschedules.
6/20: Coffee with the Redlands City Council,
Stell Coffee & Tea Company, 1580 Barton Road, Suite A. The informal meetings are held from 9 to 10:30 a.m. on the third Saturday of each month, rotating among three local restaurants – Olive Avenue Market, 530 W. Olive Ave; Cuca’s Mexican Food, 1752 E. Lugonia Ave.; and Stell Coffee & Tea Company, 1580 Barton Road, Suite A. Council members rotate attendance, with no more than two members at each meeting. This is a good opportunity to let your city council members know what you think about the Redlands “Crazy Train,” the related “stack and pack” housing, proposed 14% water rate increase and other matters.
