No Debating the Awesomeness of our Tea Party Patriots (or this newsletter)!

Like you, we ssssoooo thoroughly enjoyed Ted Cruz and Chris Christie slaughtering the CNBC moderators Dem political operatives on Wednesday, and we would love to dwell, but we’ve got so much news to get to in this newsletter we’ll just going [However, here is a picture of the CNBC “moderators” in action.] And in case you missed it, here is Ted Cruz whacking the MSMs upside the head.

First, thanks to the 75 patriots who stood with us Oct. 9 at our #BlueLivesMatter #AllLivesMatter rally in downtown Redlands! We have heard via the grapevine that the police officers we were supporting appreciated our efforts. (And that’s what’s important.) Despite that, the RDF published a silly, morally and factually confused, liberal op-ed attacking our #BlueLivesMatter #AllLivesMatter rally by Peter Coonradt. Like most liberal writers, Coonradt is all blow and no show. In his Oct. 13 smear, he pretended to support the police while talking up the liberal crusade against the cops. He talked while we took the time out of our busy schedules to actually show support for the people who protect our lives and property. Here is our reply to Coonradt’s Op Ed. Here are pics from our #BlueLivesMatter #AllLivesMatter rally. Patriots like these make it a pleasure and honor to help lead the Redlands Tea Party Patriots.

Speaking of patriots, we want to thank the two dozen people who voiced their concerns at a recent Redlands City Council meeting about ISIS infiltration among the so-called Syrian refugees (you know, the single and military-age men with fake IDs from countries other than Syria) who may be coming to Southern California. The FBI and Obama’s own director of national intelligence say the “refugees” cannot be vetted for possible terrorists. ISIS says they plan to infiltrate terrorists with the “refugees.” Of course ISIS and Al Qaeda will infiltrate terrorists with the “refugees.” ISIS and Al Qaeda are evil, not stupid. Despite their patriotism, the illiberal goons filled the pages of the Redlands Daily Facts with race card after race card demonstrating their inability to grasp the obvious dangers of Muslim Jihadist terrorists. In addition, refugees qualify for full welfare state benefits without time limits. Please see our response and Redlands Townhall member George Grames’ letter to the editor. [The RDF removed our response from the comments section on the RDF website.]

Calling all petitions!
The deadline is approaching for petitions repealing the “co-ed bathroom law.” The new petition prevents Sacramento from turning public restrooms, locker rooms and showers into transgender way stations for people who say they feel like they’re the other gender for even a second. If this new petition fails to make the ballot, then boys and men can use girls and women’s bathrooms because they suddenly get an urge to experiment — and they’re nothing you can do to stop it. We need you to mail in all petitions — even those with just one signature — by Nov. 20.

Here is a note from Gina Gleason from Calvary Chapel Chino Hills Baptist Church and Faith and Public Policy: “Have you signed the petition to keep boys out of the girl’s restroom, showers, and locker rooms? [Yes, in California, that’s necessary.] Support this important cause and help get it on the Nov. 2016 ballot by collecting signatures.” Visit Privacy for All to download or request petitions. You can download the single signer petition, fill it out, and mail it in.

We would bet the rent — but not the mortgage — that we will collect enough signatures to qualify for the 2016 ballot. That’s why we are asking all readers to sign a petition or download one. We will have them at our Nov. 5 general meeting as well as our Veterans Day event in Jeannie Davis Park. Please sign or download and sign! Every signature counts!

Speaking of petitions, there two new ones coming our way:
Parental Notification –a new initiative to mandate that a girl (under 18) wait 48 hrs. to have an abortion after a doctor notifies her parent or legal guardian in writing.
Physician Assisted Suicide — California Physician Assisted Suicide goes into effect on Jan. 1, 2016. Help reverse this law by signing the petition to get it on the Nov. 2016 ballot.

Quick! Sign up with us on Facebook! We are at 999 members! That’s pretty impressive considering we reject all trolls, spammers, bots, imposters who apply. Who will be the 1000th member?

Congrats to Greg Young, who is waging an incredible campaign to win a seat next month at the West Valley Water District. (If you live anywhere within that district — click here for a map — please, please vote for Greg (as well as Michael Taylor and Rafael Trujillo). They want to repeal that district’s 75 percent tax increase the old guard foisted on district residents. Greg, through grit and smarts, is waging an incredible campaign. Please vote for Young, Taylor and Trujillo on Nov. 3!)

Thomas Del Beccaro, the only major conservative running for California’s US Senate seat, made a special point to meet with the Redlands Tea Party Patriots on Oct. 22. In turn, we invited a dozen leaders from various groups with the Unite IE coalition. In a meeting lasting one hour, Del Beccaro detailed to a dozen people how he wants a 6 percent flat tax for California and a 15.5 percent federal flat tax for individuals and businesses. He said California and the country need a flat tax to create growth and limit the power of the Internal Revenue Service. Needless to say, we were impressed with Del Beccaro. He is a genuine fiscal and social conservative. and

The media is again failing to notice how TEAPAC Pasadena, led by Mike Alexander, is doing a great job helping patriots repeal their unjust Utility User Taxes. (As you may recall, the goal is to repeal UTT taxes in 70 communities in five Southern California counties. In Riverside County, efforts in the cities of Riverside and Moreno Valley are marching forward, and the bureaucrats and politicians are running scared they could lose one of their treasured slush funds!

Our next meeting on Nov. 5 features Steve Stockman, a conservative Washington insider who last spoke to us in June. Because of popular demand, we’re able to bring him back despite his traveling the country. He will address the 2016 election cycle and the importance of building coalitions. Steve will host a focus group of university and high school students coming from three SoCal universities and two high schools.

Patriot Christmas party, December 10. The EventBrite page for our Patriot Christmas Party with Bill Whittle and Father Josiah Trenham is open for business. (Not to boast…but we think this year’s party is going to be better than last year.) Tickets are $20 through Dec. 1. Here is a timely video of Bill Whittle “Got Law? How Hillary Clinton’s Lawlessness Gets Ignored…” Here is a Father Josiah Trenham at the 2015 Unite IE Conservative Conference: As Humphrey Bogart said: “if you do not attend, you will regret it, maybe not today, maybe not tomorrow, but soon, and for the rest of your life.”

We are keeping our ticket prices for the Christmas party at just $20, purposely below our costs so everyone who wants to attend can do so. We are covering a portion of our costs through the generosity of sponsors. Perhaps you would you like to be a sponsor. For a donation of $100 or more, we will give you two tickets, name you as a sponsor on our website and in our monthly newsletter, and you will also have reserved seating at front tables.

Please consider sponsoring our Patriots Christmas party. You can speak to Carolyn Hays at the November 5 meeting, or email

Who is looking out for California taxpayers? The Howard Jarvis Taxpayer Association released its annual report card about the fiscal spending and taxing votes of our “esteemed” representatives in Sacramento. (Spoiler alert! The liberals got sucky scores.) The good news is our own State Senator Mike Morrell got a A with a perfect score of 100 [the only state senator who earned a perfect 100], as did Assemblymen Jay Obernolte and Chad Mayes, who also earned A(s) with perfect 100(s). Marc Steinorth got an A with a still respectable 97.3. The “best” Dems at protecting California taxpayers were Assembly Member Salas earning a D with 57.9 and Senator Roth earning a D with 63.3. The rest of the Dems got F(s).

Larry Leonard and his mighty Inland Empire Transit Alliance (the guys fighting the idea of spending $450 million for a nine-mile train from San Bernardino to Redlands) are doing a great job fighting all the bureaucrats who insist the train is a good deal for us! The IETA has been so effective that train sponsors SCAMBAG has had to bring in their heavy media guns to deal with the IETA. Please see and like:

Redlands “Sustainable” General Plan Update. There was a great turnout on October 28 for the Redlands general plan meeting even with competition from the World Series and Rep debate. Everyone who spoke did a great job.

The City of Redlands is updating its General Plan, which will control what gets built and where for the next 20 years. The City’s and SANBAG’s plan to run formerly 50 and now 58 trains per day through Redlands is part of the “transformation.” If we do not want Redlands to be “fundamentally transformed” including high density (and low income) housing throughout Redlands, restricting single family homes, trying to force us out of our cars, and restricting traffic for those who still drive so it will take more of our time to drive around Redlands, we the people of Redlands need to be involved in the process.

Here are videos of citizens fulfilling the obligations of their most important political office. and Thank you to Sam Wong and Tressy Capps for videoing and Grindall61 for quickly editing the videos for posting.

The City’s website re: the new general plan is

Please see and like: and The former is specifically focused on the new general plan. The latter is intended as a broader discussion pages for all issues relating to Redlands for conservatives, liberals and those in between, and is patterned after the successful Huntington Beach Community Forum that has more than 12,000 members. We encourage everyone to read and post on these Facebook pages. You can put the same post on multiple pages or use the share function to share your post on multiple pages.

Take control of your city and your government. As always, “The most important political office is that of the private citizen.” Justice Louis D. Brandeis To paraphrase Edmund Burke, “The only thing necessary for our city, state and country to be ‘fundamentally transformed’ is for good citizens to do nothing.”

Tea Party presidential endorsement coming!
We oh so wish we had a quarter every time somebody asked us who the “tea party” will endorse for president (if we did, we could give Trump a run for his “money”). At this point, we don’t have Trump’s money, but we may soon have a presidential endorsement! [We are also still waiting for our check from the Koch brothers.] BTW, the Redlands Tea Party Patriots has not endorsed or recommended any candidates for the 2016 election. Some of us have personal favorites, but we are speaking and writing for ourselves individually at this point.

The Tea Party Patriots, of which the Redlands Tea Party Patriots are a chapter, will likely soon have its members vote on a presidential pick. You can vote as long as you’re enrolled (no cost) with the Tea Party Patriots. (No enrollment = no vote) Exactly how this process will work should be announced soon. A presidential endorsement, from the Tea Party Patriots Citizens Fund, could come before Thanksgiving. Tea Party Patriots have more members than the number of people who will vote in the Iowa caucus or New Hampshire primary.

And after you enroll, check out our site! We have information — talking points, research, training videos, etc. — on many subjects. Also check out the new Yellow Card Project, which is designed to keep presidential and other candidates focused on the topics they should, ranging from repealing Common Core and Obamacare to getting tax reform and fighting amnesty. What the candidates are talking about is more important than what they are saying. You can download the Yellow Card app from the iTunes store and Google Play and help determine what the candidates are talking about.
