Washington and Madison will keynote next week at the Redlands Tea Party Patriots!
Re-enactors for two of America’s Founding Fathers, George Washington and James Madison, will discuss “Preserving and Restoring our Constitutional Republic” at the Sept. 3 meeting of the Redlands Tea Party Patriots.
Actors Roger Cooper and Dana Parker, who studied Washington and Madison for years, ensure their portrayals are as accurate as possible.
Cooper and Parker were invited to speak in September because the US Constitution was signed on Sept. 17, 1787, at Independence Hall in Philadelphia. Sept. 17 is now celebrated as Constitution Day.
John Berry, an Army veteran of Iraq and Afghanistan, will discuss his unique perspectives on the Middle East as well as why the US Congress should reject President Obama’s recent Iranian nuclear agreement.
During the meeting, the Redlands Tea Party Patriots will be circulating petitions prohibiting co-ed bathrooms in public accommodations as well as repealing a new law mandating 69 childhood vaccinations, all without any provision for parental or religious objections.
The two-hour meeting begins at 7 p.m. at the Mill Creek Cattle Co., 1874 Mentone Blvd. in Mentone. Doors open at 5:30 with a no-host dinner. The meeting is free and open to the public. For more information: RedlandsTeaParty.net.
