Redlands Tea Party Patriots

Now onto the Senate!

YES! We are ssssooooo happy John Boehner is gone! One RINO down, one more to go…and his name is Sen. Mitch McConnell. Our own John Berry said just that much to the Press-Enterprise when he was called by political blogger Jeff Horseman for comment. Read to the bottom of the Press-Enterprise story. We are hearing the pro-tea party liberty caucus had a lot to do with Boehner’s ouster. Sign and share the Tea Party Patriots’ petition to fire Mitch McConnell, “Fire the Leader”

First, we want to thank everyone who ran our Redlands Tea Party Patriots booth at the Sept. 18-20  California Republican Party convention in Anaheim. Joann and Richard Marshall, as well as Jackie Siefferman, ran the booth all weekend which we shared with Robin Hvidston, We the People, Rising. Hundreds of people stopped by and took Tea Party Patriots literature. We have heard from several people that we made quite an impression thanks to Richard, Joann, and Jackie. “A lot of people had heard of the Redlands Tea Party Patriots,” Jackie told us. “People were impressed and complimentary of us.”  Joann, Richard and Jackie report our new flyer, “Immigration is the most important issue because it determines all other issues” was a big hit.  You can see and share the flyer, at  s

You can see and share our “Are You a Tea Party Patriot ?” flyer at

Since immigration is the most important issue, please see the candidates’ immigration grades and positions at

Donald Trump earns an “A-“.  Ted Cruz gets a “B-” [good on illegal immigration, bad on legal immigration].  Ben Carson gets a “C”.  Carly Fiorina earns a “D”.  Marco Rubio gets a “D-“.  Jeb Bush gets a “C-” [actually better than Rubio and Fiorina].

Oh! Kudos to the Inland Empire Transit Alliance for all their work opposing the nutty and needless $450 million Rails to Redlands boondoggle. That group has been showing incredible leadership and organization. So much so, that the regional government agencies pushing this project on us, circling the wagons and reconfiguring their public relations strategy. Way to go guys!  Please see and join

And follow the related new general plan in Redlands that seeks to “fundamentally transform” Redlands with high density, low income housing and trying to force us out of our cars at

Many of us have been attending  activist training sessions throughout the Inland Empire this year. The latest was Sept. 26, when 35 people attended the Foundation for Applied Conservative Leadership in Claremont. Unlike other trainings, this one was an intensive, take-no-prisoners training crammed into one day. We want to thank Shawn Dow from FACL for his most entertaining, informative, and gripping training. We learned a lot. The significance of this training is turning our members into even more fearless and effective activists to preserve and restore our republic and our freedom.

While we’re passing out gratitude, we want to thank the two dozen people who protested Dem Obama Nukes (and $150 Billion) for Iran deal to the San Bernardino office of Democrat Rep. Pete Aguilar, who has said he will vote for the agreement. It was a brutally hot day. The security guards tried — and failed — to kick us off public property to leave letters with our congressman. We appreciate Paul Chabot turning out to make a statement to the media, who was well in attendance.

Alert: the next meeting regarding the new general plan that seeks to “fundamentally transform” Redlands will be September 30, 5:30 pm at U of R, Redlands Room, Armacost Library 1249 East Colton.  It is important we make a strong showing and let the City and its “sustainable,” high priced consultant from San Francisco know that “We the People” of Redlands do not want our city “fundamentally transformed.”

On Oct. 9, we will be holding a “Blue Lives Matter” Rally in downtown Redlands during the evening rush hour, 5 p.m. – 7 p.m. The idea and inspiration belongs to Richard Marshall, who is fed up with the nationwide assault and killing of police officers nationwide. Richard took the initiative to start the rally. We are encouraging other area groups to participate. Please bring your flags, signs, and creativity as we turn out in force to express our appreciation for the people in blue who risk their lives to keep us safe.  Here is the Facebook page for the event.
We may be onto something bigger with this rally. Even the Los Angeles Times wrote about a similar rally on Saturday.

Did you hear that huge boom on Sept. 3? Was it a new space shuttle re-entering the atmosphere? (No!) Was it Hillary Clinton’s poll numbers hitting a new low? (Bummer, but no.) That sonic boom we all heard was the collective sound of liberal fantasies going pop when Donald Trump announced that he signed a Republican loyalty pledge and would not run third party. If you ever lessened your standards by watching MSNBC before Trump’s announcement, then you would understand why liberals had all their hopes pinned up in a rogue Trump run.

Have you guys explored our website lately? You should! Cabinet member Henry Vanderleest has been doing wonders adding more and more content so you can understand local issues. Under Henry’s direction, our website and newsletter have become the leading sources of local conservative news.

Don’t miss our Oct. 1 meeting!

In this month’s regular monthly meeting, Azusa Pacific University political science professor, Dan Palm, will compare the leftist (erroneously called “progressive” by some) movement (which dates back to before World War I) to the modern conservative movement, which is pretty much all Tea Party. Please catch this meeting! Dan is going to teach us a lot of information that will put our movement in historical context. The famous Chinese general and strategist, Sun Tzu, admonished us to understand both the enemy and ourselves.

One leftist leader of note Dan will discuss is Margaret Sanger, the founder of Planned Parenthood and a leader of the eugenics movement which wanted the forced sterilization of many groups, including American blacks. The cause she championed in the 1930s and 1940s suddenly came to an end when the US Army overran Hitler’s concentration camps. (Great book: “Liberal Fascism” by Jonah Goldberg.) The funny thing is liberals idolized Margaret Sanger who, if she were alive today, would be the most politically incorrect person.  [Today, Planned Parenthood abortion mills are concentrated in predominantly black areas.]  Justice Ruth Bader Ginsberg said: “Frankly I had thought that at the time Roe was decided, there was concern about population growth and particularly growth in populations that we don’t want to have too many of.”

The “Kool-Aid” liberals consume forces them to forget many of the inconvenient truths of their foundations. Little do liberals (and we use “liberals” synonymously with progressives and Democrats since there really isn’t much difference between them at all) realize that in the 1930s, they treated Benito Mussolini as a cause celeb. Liberals and Democrats were also behind Jim Crow, the KKK, segregation, poll taxes, Selma, Bull Conners, etc. These are all little truths they would rather none of us remembered…but facts can be pesky things!
At our Oct 1 meeting, Paul Chabot, 2016 candidate for US Congress, 31st district, will update us on success in getting voter rolls cleaned up in San Bernardino County and other issues.  We will again have petitions for the Personal Privacy Protection Act, which is similar to the immoral and nutty “co-ed bathroom bill” the Dems passed in 2013.  This petition, if we get enough signatures to qualify it for the 2016 ballot, will prevent Sacramento Dems from extending co-ed bathrooms to all public locker rooms, restrooms, showers.  (This is now the case in government run schools thanks to AB1266.)

Our upcoming meetings in November, Christmas party in December, and January are going to be awesome! Stay tuned!

The EventBrite page for our Christmas Party is open for business. (Not to boast…but we think this year’s party is going to be better than last year.)

One more news item.
The Tea Party Patriots Citizens Fund (separate from the Tea Party Patriots) is considering recommending a presidential candidate for endorsement.  The Tea Party Patriots are actively seeking input from its members.  No decisions have been made to endorse a candidate or the procedure for doing so.
However, if you want to participate — and to vote for a candidate — you must register at  After you enroll, please explore the site for information, training videos, and resources.
