Humptydumpty

Humpty Dumpty Justice

On Thursday, July 30, a California liberal judge issued a temporary restraining order against release of a Planned Parenthood video showing their illegal baby chop shop business.  This order is in clear violation of many Supreme Court cases against prior restraint of First Amendment protected speech.

http://dailysignal.com/2015/07/30/a-california-judge-needs-a-lesson-in-the-first-amendment/

This is more liberal Dem “Humpty Dumpty “justice.”

As Humpty Dumpty said in “Through the Looking Glass” by Lewis Carroll: “When I use a word, it means just what I choose it to mean — neither more nor less.”

Under liberal Dem “Humpty Dumpty “justice,” the law and Constitution mean only what serves the interests of the Dem party and advancing Leftism.  For the Dem Left, and especially the Obama (In)Justice Department, Lady Justice does not just peak through her blindfold, she peers through Dem race and politics binoculars.

There is no higher sacrament in the church of liberalism than the unrestricted killing of unborn children.  The Center for Medical Progress is guilty of hearsay and blasphemy and they must be “burned at the stake” or as close thereto as possible.  I expect they will be prosecuted by the Federal government and by Dem controlled state governments such as California while Planned Parenthood gets a pass for its clear violations of Federal law.

How many other Patriots and Christians have as much courage as the people at the Center for Medical Progress?

Can Trump Trump [The Ruling Class]?

http://www.powerlineblog.com/archives/2015/07/does-trump-trump-angelo-codevilla-on-our-present-moment.php

“The 2016 election is simple; the person who runs on the platform ‘Who do they think they are?’ will win.”  Angelo Codevilla

In “his essay-turned-book The Ruling Class: How They Corrupted America and What We Can Do About It [Angelo Codevilla] caught the attention of Rush Limbaugh and many others. It argues that our fundamental political problem is not “big government,” but the creation of a ruling class, inhabiting both parties, that is steadily increasing its authoritarian control over the nation.”

[The “ruling class” is “the elected, appointed, and bureaucratic officials who rule over us, as well as their cronies in the corporate, media, and academic world.”]

Please also see Angelo Codevilla’s article “Standing Up to the Ruling Class”

http://www.nationalreview.com/article/420743/truth-safeguards-liberty

“Does Trump Trump?” focuses on the ruling class and the rise of Donald Trump.

Some pull quotes:

“Donald Trump leapt atop other contenders for the Republican presidential nomination when he acted on the primordial fact in American public life today, from which most of the others hide their eyes, namely: most Americans distrust, fear, are sick and tired of, the elected, appointed, and bureaucratic officials who rule over us, as well as their cronies in the corporate, media, and academic world. Trump’s attraction lies less in his words’ grace or even precision than in the extent to which Americans are searching for someone, anyone, to lead against this ruling class, that is making America less prosperous, less free, and more dangerous.”

“Trump’s rise reminds this class’s members that they sit atop a rumbling volcano of rejection.

“Republicans brahmins have the greater reason to fear. Whereas some three fifths of Democratic voters approve the conduct of their officials, only about one fifth of Republican voters approve what theirs do. If Americans in general are primed for revolt, Republican (and independent) voters fairly thirst for it.”

“The point here is simple: our ruling class has succeeded in ruling not by reason or persuasion, never mind integrity, but by occupying society’s commanding heights, by imposing itself and its ever-changing appetites on the rest of us. It has coopted or intimidated potential opponents by denying the legitimacy of opposition. Donald Trump, haplessness and clownishness notwithstanding, has shown how easily this regime may be threatened just by refusing to be intimidated.”

“Having failed to destroy Trump, Republicans and Democrats are left to hope that he will self-destruct as Perot did. Indeed, Trump has hardly scratched the surface and may not be able to do more than that. Yet our rulers know the list of things divide them from the American people is long. They want to avoid like the plague any and all arguments on the substance of those things. They fear the rise of an un-intimidated leader more graceful and precise than Trump, someone whose vision is fuller but who is even more passionate in championing the many resentments the voicing of just a few channeled so much support to Trump.”

Who can and will lead the second American revolution against the “ruling class”?

Codevilla concludes with little discussion that Trump is not the man to lead the political “revolution” against the corrupt, incompetent, authoritarian, “because we said so” ruling class that is not only lining their pockets but also ruining the greatest country that ever existed in the process.

America was the exception in human history, the result of history and geography.  Colonists were allowed to self govern for ~150 years before the American constitution.

America reversed the usual order:

       God(s)                                                                      Or                     God=King

King, government, Pope, high priest etc.                                              The  people

       The people

With

       God

       The people

       government

That exception created the most exceptional country in human history.

Underlying everything happening politically, the ruling class is “fundamentally transforming” America from the exceptional exception into the human norm of government over the people.  [Part of the process is eliminating or reducing as much as possible the role of God and Christianity, but that is another article, essay or book.]

A second revolution, (which can still be done politically) is necessary to restore the American exception.

Codevilla said recently “The 2016 election is simple; the person who runs on the platform ‘Who do they think they are?’ will win.”

I am not as certain as Codevilla that Trump cannot be that man, but I also have my doubts.

Ted Cruz and Carly Fiorina want to lead the political revolution against the ruling class. Walker has a good record in Wisconsin taking on the unions, but he like the other Rep candidates, is not a revolutionary and is not a visionary.

Cruz is a great American patriot and he may be the one to lead the revolution.

I have heard Fiorina speak twice in person, many times on video and met her twice briefly in person.  Of all of the candidates, she comes closest to Codevilla’s description of an “un-intimidated leader more graceful and precise than Trump, someone whose vision is fuller but who is even more passionate in championing the many resentments the voicing of just a few channeled so much support to Trump.”

[I just wish Fiorina would read Ann Coulter’s book Adios America! Because the second American revolution cannot be successful unless we control illegal and legal immigration.  Legal immigration brought in 30 million immigrants from 1980 to 2012 and will bring in 14 million more legal immigrants in the next 10 years, who will vote for the Dem ruling class 80%/20%.]

For the moment, Trump is leading the revolution against the ruling class most effectively.  If he falters, he may have performed a great and valuable service for America showing the way for the leader(s) who will help lead Americans to overthrow the corrupt, incompetent, authoritarian, “because we said so” ruling class, and even more important, inspiring the American people to live up to their right and restore the American constitutional republic.

Hopefully, Rep presidential candidates, members of Congress, elected officials from the state houses to city halls, and candidates for all of these offices will see Trump stand up to the ruling class and say “I can do that too.”

For the moment, “Fight On Donald Trump.”

Immigration and “Fundamental Transformation”

This article shows how the Dems are using legal and illegal immigration to “fundamentally transform the United States of America.”

This article shows why for Reps, conservatives and everyone who believes in the principles on which America was founded and which made her the greatest country that has ever existed, immigration must be the #1, #2, #3, #4, and #5 issue.  If we lose on immigration, we lose on everything because the immigrants block vote for the party of Barack Hussein Obama, Hillary Clinton, Nancy Pelosi, Barney Frank etc., and they will continue “fundamentally transforming the United States of America.”

http://www.breitbart.com/big-government/2015/07/26/new-california-mass-immigration-turning-virginia-blue/

It is a long article, but very important and worth the time.

Here are some pull quotes:

“The birthplace and final resting place of George Washington, James Madison, Thomas Jefferson—and once one of the most reliably-red of red states—is being rapidly turned into a progressive stronghold.”

“Each year the federal government prints millions of visas and distributes these admission tickets to the poorest and least-developed nations in the world.”

“Until 1970, only 1 in 100 Virginians was born outside of the United States; by 2012, 1 in every 9 Virginians is foreign-born.”

“According to the 2013 Department of Homeland Security (DHS) Immigration Yearbook, only 8.7 percent of green cards issued by the federal government went to immigrants born in Europe, a product of immigration changes pushed through by Ted Kennedy in 1965.”

“Year after year, the United States continues its annual dispensation of one million plus new green cards, the admission of one million foreign workers, refugees and dependents, and the importation of half a million foreign youths sought by college administrators.”

“One in four U.S. residents is either an immigrant himself or has immigrant parents.”

“The Census Bureau projects that the U.S. will add another 14 million immigrants over the following ten years if green card programs aren’t slashed, pushing the U.S. past all documented historical immigration records in terms of immigrant to population ratio.”

“When a high point was hit last century, then-President Calvin Coolidge hit the pause button for roughly fifty years– producing an era of explosive wage growth. That pause continued until Ted Kennedy ushered in legislation that granted millions of immigration visas to the entire world.”

“The steady gusher of visas happens silently and with little media recognition, yet its effects are more permanent and transformative than many of the most far-reaching foreign policy accords.”

“Immigrants favor Democratic candidates and liberal policies by a wide margin, surveys show, and they have moved formerly competitive states like Illinois firmly into the Democratic column and could turn Republican strongholds like Georgia and Texas into battlegrounds in the years to come.”

“The enormous flow of legal immigrants in to the country — 29.5 million 1980 to 2012 — has remade and continues to remake the nation’s electorate in favor of the Democratic Party.”

“A 2012 study conducted by YouGov that, ‘gauged the partisan preferences of over 2,900 naturalized immigrants, finding 62.5 percent to be Democratic identifiers, 24.6 percent Republican, and 12.9 percent independent.’”

“About one-fifth of the total population of El Salvador resides in the United States.”

“The foreign-born Hispanic welfare rate was nearly three times that of native-born whites. This trend continues for the children of immigrants as well: Native-born Hispanics collected welfare at over twice the rate as native-born whites.”

“A 2011 study examining education attainment in the United States found that of Hispanic immigrants (aged 25 to 34), only nine percent obtain a Bachelor’s degree. For second generation Hispanic immigrants of that same age group, that number increases only slightly: 19 percent obtain a Bachelor’s degree. Amongst the third generation, however, the number recedes: only 16 percent obtain a Bachelor’s degree.”

“While the influence of conservative voters in the Commonwealth continues to diminish, it is ironically Republican officials in Virginia who have led the push to resettle even larger numbers of immigrants inside the state.”

“All net jobs created in the United States from 2000-2014 went to immigrants.”

“By a greater than 6:1 margin, Hispanic voters believe that jobs should go to those already living inside the United States instead of importing new workers from foreign countries. Black voters believe the same, by an extraordinary ratio of almost 30:1. Both groups suffer every day from the federal government’s policy of adding millions of new competitors to the labor pool.”

“Conservative columnist Ann Coulter illustrated: ‘In 1980, Reagan won the biggest electoral landslide in history against an incumbent president, Jimmy Carter. Without the last 40 years of immigration, in 2012, Mitt Romney would have won a bigger landslide than Reagan did.’”

But for Ted Kennedy’s 1965 immigration law that let in tens of millions of poor, low education, low skill people from the world’s poorest and most trouble countries, we would not have Obama, Obamacare, $8 Trillion in debt in 6 years, a weakened military, an agreement to allow the Iranian regime to have nuclear weapons, declining wages for American workers, etc. etc. etc.

Reducing immigration to protect American workers is also very popular with American workers.

http://dailycaller.com/2015/04/22/media-ignores-evidence-americans-want-to-reduce-legal-immigration/

Adopt Ann Coulter’s program, 10 year moratorium on all immigration to assimilate the tens of millions of legal immigrants already here and allow wages for American workers to rise.  Then allow immigration based on what is in the interest of America, American workers and American taxpayers, not based on what is in the interest of the Dem party.

BTW, if you have not read Ann Coulter’s “Adios America! The Left’s Plan To Turn Our Country Into A Third World Hell Hole,” I strongly recommend it.

Minimum Wage, Immigration and the Price of Labor

Liberals show their “compassion” by wanting the government to force other people to pay more of the other people’s money to low wage workers.

The SB Sun editorializes for a higher minimum wage.   http://www.sbsun.com/opinion/20150724/wage-gap-is-only-one-economic-hurdle-for-la-california-us

Leaving aside the loss of jobs for low skill workers, I have some questions:

Do #AmericanWorkers matter?

Do #BlackAmericanWorkers matter?

Do #LatinoAmericanWorkers matter?

The Free Enterprise System, Morality, Prosperity, Fairness and Happiness

Milton Friedman delivers the Gettysburg address in brevity and clarity why the free enterprise system, “capitalism” which I do not like because it is an inaccurate Marxist term, is the best economic system yet devised for providing the most prosperity to the most people in 2 minutes 23 seconds.

Arthur Brooks explains why the free enterprise system is also the most moral and fair economic system and the economic system best for producing the most happiness for the most people because it provides for earned success.

Secretary of State John Kerry told a packed meeting of skeptical House lawmakers on Wednesday that a vote against the Iran nuclear deal would be a vote to “go to war,” according to members leaving the meeting.

The Obama administration will use the next several weeks to pitch skeptical Republicans and Democrats on the deal before Congress considers voting on the deal. Votes are expected on a resolution to disapprove of the deal.

But despite Kerry’s shrill warning about the prospect of armed conflict, some left the meeting saying they weren’t convinced. Among the skeptical Democrats was Rep. Dan Lipinski, D-Ill., who said Kerry’s approve-or-else pitch was falling flat.

“I think Congress has a role to play here,” Lipinski said. “And I don’t think that voting ‘no’ means a vote to go to war. And that is what the argument that seems to be put out there, that a vote of no on this is a vote to go to war. I don’t think that’s true.”
