Carly Fiorina, Rick Perry and Bobby Jindal all gave great speeches and drew standing ovations. [Personally, I was most impressed with Carly Fiorina. Watch out for her.]
In addition, the Unite IE Conservative Conference was much more than the three possible presidential candidates. Larry Elder, David Spady, Steven Greenhut, the Politichicks, Father Josiah Trenham and Evan Sayet and others all gave great presentations.
The Unite IE Conservative Conference was also about conservatives networking and having fun.
Unite IE is a coalition of more than 20 conservative groups in the Inland Empire, Republicans, Tea Party groups and other conservatives, dedicated to the preserving and restoring America and the freedom and opportunity for you and your children and grandchildren to pursue the American dream.
The Unite IE coalition is turning isolated pockets of resistance into a united front for freedom, opportunity and the values and principles that made America exceptional.
What we would most like people to take away from the Unite IE Conservative Conference are:
- Justice Louis D. Brandeis was correct in saying “The most important political office is that of the private citizen.”
- If We the People fulfill the obligations of that “most important political office” in a Constitutional republic, we can save and restore America and the freedom and opportunity for you and your children and grandchildren to pursue the American dream.
“The most important political office is that of the private citizen.” Justice Louis D. Brandeis
“We must have the courage to do what we know is morally right.” Ronald Reagan
“I never worry about action, but only inaction.” Winston Churchill
“If there is something about government you don’t like, get together and do something about it.” Howard Jarvis
“It is always too soon to give up.” Pastor Jack Hibbs
