Confidence in Institutions: Trends in Americans’ Attitudes toward Government, Media, and Business

Major Survey Finds Record Low Confidence In Government

[So why do the people who don’t trust the government keep voting for people who want to give or have the government take more power and money?  E.g., I don’t trust the government but I will vote for Obama who wants the government to control my healthcare.”]

[This deservedly very low level of trust also bodes ill for the country.

It’s Here: The Roadmap for a Government-Controlled Internet

[It’s Obamacare for the Internet.  We should ask why anti American billionaire George Soros and the Ford Foundation donated $197 MILLION to groups favoring “Net Neutrality.”  Why did the Dems on the FCC keep the proposal secret from the American people until after they passed it?  As FCC Commissioner Ajit Pai said: it is  “a solution that won’t work to a problem that doesn’t exist.”

Tax by mile. It all begins with a ‘pilot’ program…

Oregon Becomes First State to Impose Per-Mile Road Tax

A: It is mandated per the Southern California Association of Governments (SCAG) as part of the “innovative financing” in their 2012 Regional Transportation Plan (RTP). The financing section, which corresponds to SB375 (the global warming bill mandating sustainable communities). Innovative financing is a creative way to say new taxes, which will grease all the subsidies to pay for SB375 requirements. See page 95 to see a chart on toll roads and tax by mile.

Senate Bill No. 1077: CHAPTER 835
An act to add and repeal Chapter 7 (commencing with Section 3090) of Division 2 of, and to repeal Chapter 7 (commencing with former Section 3100) of Division 2 of, the Vehicle Code, relating to vehicles. Approved by  Governor  September 29, 2014.  Filed with  Secretary of State  September 29, 2014.

“In a great nation like ours, you can’t let people do what they want.  It has to be coordinated.”  Hasan Ikharata, Executive Director SCAG  [former Soviet planner]

[Aside from the increased taxes, who wants the government to track where and how much you drive?

The government can also use this to impose variable taxes based on where, when and how much you drive giving the government and the Green Left even more control over your life.  The Dem Green Left’s ultimate goal is to get rid of the automobile. The vehicle mileage tax and associated technology to track where, when and how much you drive is an important means to accomplish this goal.

Any Rep that in anyway supports this should be primaried.

[Updated] The Redlands (Crazy) Train Project: It’s Worse Than Another Waste of Our Money Government Boondoggle

To learn more the $250 Million Redland “Crazy Train” that will run 24 trains through downtown Redlands to U or R each day, with diesel locomotives, with 12 street crossing, snarling traffic especially getting to the freeway, making noise and making life, business and traffic worse.  Then comes the “transit oriented development,” dense, high rise “stack and pack” housing.  The City wants to replace the Redlands Mall with a huge, high rise 5 or 6 story commercial and “stack and pack” housing project.

In short, Agenda 21 comes to Redlands.

Please see and sign up for updates at:

[All power is inherent in the people if they choose to use it.  The people of Redlands can stop the Redlands Crazy Train if they choose to do so.]

I believe conservatives should use their wallets and purses in service of the cause (when reasonably possible). is a good source of information to do so.
